During 2019/20 Ards Historical Society participated in a borough wide project lead by North Down Museum, the objective being to record the 20th century commercial and industrial heritage of the area. Former workers, managers and factory owners kindly agreed to being interviewed.
Video 1 includes the purpose and overview of the project followed by a selection of edited interviews that give an insight as to the range of industries, the people, skills, employment opportunities and pastimes.
